Furthermore, you have:

• A university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable financial field.
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in a senior financial position, supplemented by leadership experience within a complex organization.
• Demonstrable experience with strategy formation, investment issues, business control, corporate finance, accountancy, and/or governance issues.
• Experience in advising management, executive, and board levels and operating in an environment with complex internal and external stakeholders.
• Affinity with or experience within the energy, infrastructure, public, or regulated sector, where you are familiar with the dynamics of large investments, holdings, and public-private partnerships.

• A gross monthly salary between € 7,258 and € 11,490 (based on 40 hours), 20 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where the employer pays 70% of the premium.

As finance manager, you hold ultimate responsibility for the financial strategy, governance, and business operations of NetVerder. You provide direction to the financial development of three fast-growing activities in the fields of sustainable gases, steam, and heat. In doing so, you manage investments, value creation, risk management, and organizational development. As a member of the management team, you ensure a solid financial foundation for the growth and societal ambitions of NetVerder.

A day as finance manager:

• You start the day with the management team and discuss the progress of strategic projects, investments, and financial results within the various activities of NetVerder.
• Together with your team, you analyze a business case for a new investment in a heat company. You assess risks, returns, and financing options and translate these into clear decision-making for the board and shareholders.
• Next, you consult with shareholders, municipalities, and external partners regarding the further development of sustainable heat solutions. In this role, you represent the interests of NetVerder and provide direction for future growth.
• In the afternoon, you work hybridly with colleagues on the further professionalization of finance, IT, governance, and reporting. You help the organization grow to a higher level of maturity and create the right prerequisites for further scaling up.
• You close the day with a strategic meeting with CFO Jaap Verhoeff. Together, you discuss the long-term course, investment priorities, and how NetVerder can further strengthen its position within the energy transition.
