Interim Tactical Buyer (Freelance) 32 hours p.w. | Rotterdam | Assignment duration approx. 4 months.
Do you want to achieve immediate visible results as an Interim Tactical Buyer in Rotterdam? In this assignment, you will be given the space to realize savings opportunities, optimize supplier contracts, and help build the further development of the procurement function within Greenchoice. You will work closely with stakeholders throughout the organization and report directly to the CFO.
As an Interim Tactical Buyer, you will focus on realizing demonstrable OPEX savings within various indirect procurement categories, such as IT, HR, facilities, and business services. You will analyze existing contracts, investigate commercial opportunities, and conduct negotiations that lead to better terms, lower costs, and a more efficient supplier landscape.
Additionally, you will contribute to the professionalization of procurement within Greenchoice. You will guide sourcing processes, consolidate suppliers where possible, and contribute ideas regarding processes, governance, and working methods. In doing so, you combine a pragmatic approach with a sharp eye for commercial results and stakeholder interests.
You will work across the entire organization, collaborating with budget holders, managers, and suppliers. In an environment where procurement activities are currently still partly organized decentrally, you will receive plenty of room to implement improvements and make results visible. Your insights and practical experience will help not only in realizing savings but also in the further development of a central procurement function. Together, you will ensure professional decision-making and a strong foundation for future procurement processes.
At Greenchoice, we are who we are. We want everyone to feel involved and valued, not despite, but because of our differences. It is precisely because we are all different that we arrive at the best solutions. Here, who you are matters. Your gender, religion, beliefs, clothing style, age, and home situation make you who you are. We strive for an inclusive culture in which diversity and equality are a matter of course. We find common ground in our shared goal: making smart choices together.
The freedom to independently identify procurement opportunities, conduct negotiations, and realize concrete results.
An assignment where you have direct influence on cost optimization and simultaneously contribute to the further design of the central procurement function.
Intensive collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and management, including direct alignment with the CFO.
Renegotiating existing supplier contracts and realizing demonstrable cost savings.
Bundling procurement needs, optimizing pricing agreements, and further professionalizing the supplier base.
Setting up and executing market inquiries and sourcing processes, while actively involving internal stakeholders in choices and results.
You see opportunities where others pass them by and translate analyses into concrete actions. You engage in dialogue with suppliers, dare to challenge existing agreements, and bring stakeholders along in your proposals. In doing so, you maintain an eye for quality, continuity, and pleasant cooperation.
In addition, you have:
At least 5 years of experience in a tactical procurement function.
Demonstrable experience with supplier management and contract negotiations.
Experience within multiple indirect procurement categories, such as IT, HR, facilities, or business services.
An independent interim assignment with a lot of responsibility and visible impact on business results.
A market-conform hourly rate of approximately €125 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
An assignment of approximately four months for an average of 32 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
A hybrid working environment with approximately three working days per week in the office in Rotterdam.
Direct collaboration with the CFO and other important stakeholders within the organization.
Possibility of extension based on results, available budget, and mutual satisfaction.
