We do this together with 98 colleagues from our locations in Schiphol-Rijk, Eindhoven-Airport, and Spijkenisse.

We like to invest in the development of our employees. Depending on your own ambitions and learning curve, there are sufficient opportunities for career growth.

Will you ensure that our medical shipments reach their destination worldwide?

One of our specializations is the transport of medical materials on behalf of academic hospitals and research institutions. As an Operational Pharma Logistics Assistant you are the link between our clients and carriers.

What you'll do

Within our operational services, you will be involved daily in the preparation, processing, and supervision of specialist shipments. This is emphatically a hands-on operational role where you alternate administrative tasks with light physical operational work. You will work, among other things, with biological material, temperature-sensitive shipments, packaging, and transport documentation, and ensure that shipments are carried out correctly, safely, and according to the applicable procedures.

In addition to existing activities, SGS is working on the further development of our Pharma Logistics services. As a result, you will have the opportunity, depending on your experience and development, to also become involved in pharmaceutical and GDP-related logistical activities.

  • the preparation and coordination of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical shipments;
  • working with qualified packaging solutions, temperature, and GPS monitoring;
  • checking and recording transport and quality documentation;
  • providing support during deviations and specifics during transport;
  • working according to procedures and quality requirements within a GDP environment.

Functie-eisen

Experience within pharma, healthcare, GDP, or temperature-controlled logistics is therefore a plus, but not an absolute requirement. More important is that you are operationally strong, work accurately, take responsibility, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
