The role

Planning is a profession. Do you agree? Come help us build the professionalization of Saffier's planning department. As an operational planner, you are the linchpin in daily personnel planning. You ensure that our healthcare professionals are deployed at the right place at the right time. For one or more locations within Saffier, you are responsible for the operational personnel planning and work closely with managers, employees, our internal flex pool (FlexJob), and your fellow planners.

You maintain an overview, switch gears quickly, and know how to make the right decisions even under pressure. No two days are the same. A sick call, a change in care demand, or an open shift sometimes requires immediate action. It is precisely that dynamism and finding the best solution within the available staff that gives you energy.

You focus on personnel planning for the next three months. You create basic schedules, process changes such as leave and sickness, and ensure that open shifts are filled as effectively as possible. In doing so, you continuously weigh care demand, available capacity, laws and regulations, and employee wishes against each other. In this way, you ensure a workable schedule that aligns with the needs of both the organization and the employee.

In addition to creating schedules, you are an important interlocutor for managers. You advise on planning issues, identify bottlenecks, and actively think along about solutions. You maintain an overview, switch gears quickly, and know how to make the right decisions even under pressure.

Your work environment

You are part of Saffier's planning department. Together with your fellow planners, you support the care teams at our ten locations in The Hague. The planning department is in full development and is working on further professionalization and standardization of personnel planning. You will make an active contribution to this through your expertise and ensure optimal personnel deployment at the locations for which you are responsible.

Good to know

  • You work 24 to 36 hours per week

  • You work together with a fellow planner and are responsible for the planning of one or more locations

  • You have a lot of contact with managers, employees, and FlexJob

  • You contribute to the further development of the planning department and the quality of personnel planning
