Requirements

What we're looking for

  • You possess a university-level working/thinking ability in the direction of Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or Finance with 2 to 5 years of experience;
  • You are an analytical connector who excels in process thinking, data, and digitalization;
  • You convince us with good communication skills (Dutch and English) and you have a strong personality with a positive attitude;
  • You are very proficient with Excel, planning and ERP systems (Infor M3 and Demand Planner is a plus) and the use of BI tools (Power BI is a plus).

The role

The S&OP Planner is responsible for setting up, guiding, and continuously improving the Sales & Operations Process (operational and tactical) for Velder. From Demand reviews and Supply reviews to S&OP decision-making, the goal is to achieve an optimal balance between desired service levels, shrinkage, freshness (BBD), inventory levels (working capital), and optimal utilization of available capacities (other costs in the chain) in line with the budget.

Collaborating with sales, marketing, sourcing, operations, and finance to create the optimal business plan, so that our customers can enjoy the most delicious cheese, that is the challenge in this role as an S&OP Planner

What you'll do

An important part of the role is coaching colleagues from planning, sales, marketing, sourcing, operations, and finance to grow together in the integrated management of the business.
