At Schiphol, everything revolves around collaboration, safety, and timing. As a Planner Schiphol (personnel planner / workforce planner), you ensure that personnel planning and rosters within the security operation are always correct and that staffing levels are in order.

As a planner, you are responsible for operational personnel planning and the optimal deployment of capacity:

• You create and manage the short-term planning (up to 8 weeks in advance);
• You continuously monitor staffing levels and personnel deployment;
• You resolve capacity issues, such as sick leave, leave, and extra requests;
• You are responsible for approximately 12,000 plannable hours per pay period;
• You think proactively along during peak moments and unexpected situations;
• You coordinate with the capacity planner, operational managers, and the Manager Planning & Capacity;
• You ensure efficient rosters and compliance with collective labor agreements (CAO) and laws and regulations.

• MBO4 or HBO working and thinking level;
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a role as a (personnel) planner, workforce planner, or scheduler;
• Experience with operational planning (for example in logistics, healthcare, hospitality, security, or aviation);
• Strong communication skills and the ability to switch gears quickly;
• A proactive, solution-oriented work attitude;
• Willingness to work an on-call shift once every 4 weeks;
• Residing within a radius of approximately 40 km of Schiphol.
