To be eligible for this position, you have the following:

You possess a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in an agricultural field or have acquired HBO working and thinking levels through demonstrable experience;
You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the agricultural sector;
You are style-flexible in your communication. You speak both the language of the dairy farmer and that of our company and are able to look at the sector with a helicopter view;
You present your story clearly and know how to hold onto it in a relaxed manner;
You know how to bring depth to conversations and thereby see opportunities that remain hidden to others.

The role

At Royal Lactalis Leerdammer, cheese is produced 24/7 at the production sites in Schoonrewoerd and Dalfsen. For this, a continuous and consistent supply of milk is required that meets the conditions and originates from dairy farmers in the region surrounding the factories. This is the primary responsibility of the Milk Supply team. As Regional Milk Supply Advisor, you are the key partner for our dairy farmers on behalf of Royal Lactalis Leerdammer.

What you'll do

You move naturally between the organization and the dairy farmers. You translate the corporate strategy and the story of Royal Lactalis Leerdammer to the dairy farmers in a sound and transparent manner. Together with the other Regional Advisors, you ensure the consistent communication of the message, both in writing and orally.

To ensure the most optimal milk supply possible, you spar with dairy farmers about effectively and efficiently complying with the delivery conditions, the applicability of the Duurzaam Leerdammer program to the respective dairy farm, the instruments to be used, and the laws and regulations.
Through your knowledge of dairy farming and the agricultural sector, you know how to zoom in on topics both internally and with our dairy farmers, and you identify where areas for improvement or opportunities lie, for the dairy farm or for Royal Lactalis Leerdammer. You implement improvements; quickly and pragmatically, or you initiate and lead a project. You easily know how to get dairy farmers to connect with the chosen approach.

As Regional Milk Supply Advisor, you report to the Field Service Manager. In the Milk Supply team—in addition to the Regional Advisors—colleagues work who are responsible for milk planning, quality, communication, and office support.
