For the Horti Business Unit in Wageningen, Eurofins Agro is looking for an enthusiastic OVM Staff Horti.

The department
Within the Horti Business Unit, everything revolves around reliable analyses for professional growers and other customers in horticulture. As an OVM Staff member, you are an important link at the beginning of the research process. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that horticultural samples are correctly received, registered, prepared, and distributed. Thanks to your accurate work, the laboratory can start quickly and customers receive reliable results in a timely manner.

No two days are exactly the same. You work according to clear quality regulations and ensure that every sample follows the correct route through the process. Your activities consist of, among other things:
•   receiving and checking horticultural samples;
•   scanning, coding, sorting, and distributing samples per analysis;
•   registering actions in our automated systems;
•   identifying and setting aside deviating or incorrectly supplied samples;
•   moistening, pre-treating, and filtering samples according to fixed instructions;
•   assembling and sequencing sample packages for the laboratory.

The fun challenge of every workday? All samples that come in, we process as efficiently as possible, so that the results can be reported on the same day. This is only possible through good cooperation, dividing the work smartly, and helping each other when necessary. This is how we combine quality and tempo and together deliver a reliable performance every day. During peak periods, you help colleagues within the process where necessary. Depending on the season, you may occasionally also be deployed to another Business Unit.
