Student Internship

Are you an ambitious university bachelor's or master's student and would you like to get to know the legal profession or the notary profession? During a student internship at Nysingh, you will get to know the practice, our people, and the issues we work on daily.

From day one, you will be part of the team, receiving various assignments and working together with experienced lawyers and notaries. This allows you to discover not only our office, but also which area of law suits you.

During your internship, you will be fully involved in our practice. You will support lawyers and notaries with diverse legal issues and gain a good insight into the daily work.

Think of:

• conducting case law research;

• writing memos;

• preparing legal documents;

• attending client meetings and hearings.

In addition to the substantive work, you will also get to know your colleagues and our office better. You are very welcome to join all office activities, such as drinks, events, and other social gatherings.

A student internship at Nysingh lasts eight weeks. In consultation, you can also complete the internship part-time, with four days per week.

You can choose for:

• an office-wide internship, where you receive assignments from various sections;

• a section-specific internship, when you already have a clear interest in a particular area of law.

In addition, we offer:

• an internship allowance of €750,- gross per month based on a 40-hour work week;

• a travel allowance if you do not possess a student travel product;

• a communal office lunch;

• a practice-oriented internship in which you learn a lot and become involved.

At our locations in Zwolle and Arnhem, you can complete a notary internship. Our notaries work within the Corporate Law (Arnhem/Zwolle) and Real Estate, Market & Government (Arnhem) sections.

At the Arnhem, Utrecht, and Zwolle locations, you can get to know almost all sections during your internship, namely:

• Liability, Insurance & Damages (Arnhem)

• Employment Law (Arnhem/Utrecht/Zwolle)

• Health Law (Utrecht)

• Corporate Law (Arnhem/Utrecht/Zwolle)

• Real Estate, Market & Government (Arnhem/Utrecht)
