The role

Are you in the final stages of your law studies and do you want to get to know international transaction and advisory practice? Then a student internship within our Private Equity, Corporate Transactions & Advisory product group is the opportunity for you.

What you'll do

During your two-month internship:

you will be fully involved in practice;
you will be guided by a mentor and a buddy;
you will work on real files.

Responsibilities include:

drafting notes, advice, and correspondence;
conducting legal research;
attending meetings and hearings;
translating legal documents.

Private Equity, Corporate Transactions & Advisory
Within this product group, we advise clients on national and international mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, and high-end commercial contracts. You will work on complex, often cross-border transactions where legal expertise, strategic insight, and commercial interests converge.

We guide clients throughout the entire investment and transaction chain: from acquisition, structuring, and financing to restructuring and exit. In doing so, we work closely with specialists in areas including antitrust, finance, capital markets, tax, pensions, employment, real estate, and disputes, so that clients receive integrated advice.

The practice is international and dynamic, with clients ranging from multinationals to private equity parties, investment funds, institutional investors, and other market leaders.

Additional information

In addition, you can participate in training via the Clifford Chance Academy and at social events within the office. This will give you a complete picture of both the work and the culture.
