Student Worker | Financial Services
Are you curious about the world of financial markets and do you want to apply your knowledge in an international environment where legal expertise and market knowledge converge? Become a student worker within our Financial Services team in Amsterdam and discover how financial supervision makes a difference in diverse legal issues - from complex corporate transactions to extensive license applications.
Team
Our Financial Services team advises a wide range of financial institutions: from fund and asset managers to brokers/dealers, trading platforms, and crypto companies. We guide both Dutch and international clients through licensing processes, reporting procedures, and communication with regulators such as the AFM and DNB. Additionally, we are pioneers in the field of blockchain and crypto and support large, global crypto service providers and other financial market participants in navigating the regulations surrounding the use of these technologies.
Role
As a student worker, you truly participate in our team. Because the team is relatively small, we work closely together and you will quickly see a lot of practical work passing by. You support the lawyers in the broadest sense of the word and get the chance to research legal issues, write memos, and prepare presentations. It is our starting point that you learn not only the content of the profession, but also our office and the people behind the work. As such, you are very welcome to join our (social) activities such as case law lunches, drinks, and sports activities.
Profile
In this role, it helps if you already have some knowledge of practice, for example because you have relevant internship or work experience in this field or because you are studying or have studied financial regulatory law. Do you also recognize yourself in the following points?
