Department Manager IWG (Contract Management, Project Control & System Integration)

You are leading a major change task: from a supporting specialist department to a strategic partner that takes the lead in complex projects. In doing so, you not only create impact for our clients, but also provide direction to the next phase of our organization.

• You are responsible for translating the market unit strategy into a clear departmental course, with concrete goals, tight priorities, and direct steering on results, even when the context or client demand changes.

• Leading leaders is the heart of this role: you steer 5 team leaders on course, performance, and development, and serve as the face of the department, both internally and towards clients.

• You set the standard for how work is done within the department: with ownership, craftsmanship, and a sharp eye for continuous developments in the market.

As Department Manager, you are at the helm of the Contract Management, Project Control, and System Integration department. Movares is in full development and growth, including through acquisitions; this requires a department manager who knows how to operationalize strategy and who can move along without losing sight of the people and the market. You have 5 direct reports and the total department consists of 76 people.

The task: not only moving along with the changing demands of clients in transition, but managing the department so that it remains close to the client and makes a difference, from contract form and project control to construction management and system integration.

• university/professional and thinking level;

• at least 10 years of relevant management experience, of which a substantial part is in a role in which you led other managers. Work experience within the engineering or infra sector is a plus;

• demonstrable experience in translating strategy into concrete operational plans;

• affinity with and vision on the field of Infra.
