Teamlead Air Export Fresh

At Schiphol, we do this with a close-knit, operational team. This role is in a team specialized in air freight export of fresh products. Fast, accurate, and always customer-oriented. As Teamlead, you will soon be the one who shapes and strengthens that team daily.

• The daily management, coaching, and development of the Export Fresh Air team (± 4 people);

• Monitoring operational quality, lead times, and KPIs within the process from booking to invoicing of air freight export perishables shipments;

• Acting as an escalation point for complex shipments and customer issues;

• Identifying and implementing process improvements, together with your team;

• Participating in weekend shifts (on average 1x per month), this can be done from home. Exceptions/deviations are possible and will be coordinated in consultation.

Please note: In this role, once you are trained, you will also work weekend and evening shifts; this can be done from home. Exceptions/deviations are possible and will be coordinated in consultation. Weekend shifts are, of course, compensated in terms of time, and with an allowance.

• Demonstrable work experience as an agent/freight forwarder, preferably within air freight export and the AGF/perishables industry;

• Previous experience in a leadership, coordinating, or senior role, or the ambition and natural authority to take this step;

• MBO4 diploma in a logistics direction; knowledge of and/or affinity with horticulture and the AGF industry is a plus;

• You take responsibility in everything you do and know how to delegate that responsibility to your team as well;

• Strong communication skills and a coaching, motivating leadership style;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
