Shiftleader - team Blauw

The Shift Leader is responsible for the technical availability of the baggage system and ensures that all operational and technical disruptions are resolved by their team.

This means that you are technically all-round trained and operate as the person responsible for performing daily preventive as well as corrective maintenance. You will be involved in this from start to finish; starting with the preparation, distribution of activities, guidance, execution, feedback, and the efficiency with which this occurs.

The team consists of approximately 10 service technicians. You are the point of contact for your employees and ensure that their capacities are fully utilized and that they function correctly. You report to the Team Leader, for whom you act as the translator for what is happening on the shop floor and vice versa.

• Ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out well and on time;

• Coordinating corrective activities within the executing shift;

• Supervising the reporting carried out by the team;

• Being available to the service technicians to offer them support and provide advice;

• Optimally utilizing your available capacity for the operation;

• Ensuring control over safe working conditions and procedures;

You are someone who dares to make decisions, and who can provide direction and coordinate activities. You take initiative, want to build team spirit, and are willing to set changes in motion, monitor progress, and prioritize safety at all times.

Furthermore, we are also looking for the following experience:

• Minimum technical MBO 3 education completed or comparable work experience in the technical industry;

• At least 5 years of experience in the electrical or mechanical field;

• You are enthusiastic about being close to the operation;

• You possess good communication skills;

• Proficiency in the English language is an advantage;
