For a large technical project in the Amsterdam region, we are looking for multiple students who are available 3 days per week. Together with a team of other students, you will work on checking and updating technical documentation, specifically focused on process vessels. The goal of the project is to map out the integrity of these installations and to comply with stricter requirements from legislation and regulators.
In the beginning, the focus lies on office work: you will collect data in SAP, verify information using existing documentation, and retrieve data from P&IDs. Based on that, you will supplement the central database (WAL/QMS). Once you are trained, you will also go into the field to physically verify the collected information. During this, you will, among other things, take photos of nameplates and other identifying characteristics, and record your findings according to fixed reporting instructions. You will work according to clear work instructions and make an important contribution to bringing the asset register up to date.
The project is supervised by an experienced project leader and you will work together with engineers, technicians, and maintenance teams. You will receive support throughout the entire process and participate in regular consultation meetings. The work takes place partly on location and partly from the Ivy Global office. The working atmosphere is informal and educational, and you will receive a lot of responsibility within a professional project team. In short: a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a complex industrial environment.
You will be working at one of the largest industrial production environments in the Netherlands, within the team working on the Process Vessel Integrity Regime (PVIR). The project takes place on a large-scale site with a complex installation structure, where safety, reliability, and sustainability are central. Within this project, you contribute to improving asset integrity by working on a large-scale inventory of process vessels.
You will work both in the office and on location in the factory, whereby you will be present more in the office during the initial period for your training process. Once you are well-trained, you can work hybrid: a combination of working from home, office checks from the office, and fieldwork on the site. You will visit places where you wouldn't normally go and gain practical experience in a dynamic, technical environment where innovation and collaboration are paramount.
