The role

Are you ready to take on the challenge of creating excellent learning environments, from start to finish, in Canvas? Do you have a strong interest in education, an eye for detail, and serious technical skills? Then this might be the ideal part-time job for you! And, as the icing on the cake, there may be an opportunity for a full-time position after your studies.

Your colleague on working at Drieam

"In the Customer Experience (CX) team, you work in an incredibly fun and challenging way on products intended for widespread use among students. The combination of finding unique solutions for every customer, working in a company with a lot of innovation where you can truly make a difference, makes Drieam a perfect place to work!"

Sören de Kok, UX Designer

A typical day at Drieam

09.00 Weekly stand-up with the CX team.

10.00 Customer success. The customer success manager wants to discuss design requirements for an important client for the upcoming academic year.

11.00 Working session with fellow UX designers. During this session with your UX design colleagues, you show the designs you have made for some components, collecting feedback and input from each other.

12.30 Lunch with the team

13.00 Walk through the park. With someone from the sales team, whom you got to know better during one of our famous drinks.

13.30 Development. Based on the feedback from this morning, you start implementing the changes to the components in HTML and CSS.

16.00 A client has a question about a template. By taking on an advisory role, you help our client get back on track as best as possible. Can't figure it out? Your CX team colleagues are happy to help you further!

16.30 You track your progress and inform your colleagues. Because multiple projects often overlap, you know how important it is to be good at tracking activities and reporting this back to your team members.

And tomorrow?

Perhaps this is a day at the university for you, but the next day you pick up where you left off, collaborating within the CX team. As a UX designer, you know it is important to continue showing initiative and to get to the core of why decisions are made, in order to come up with improvements and, therefore, better products. This means you feel the urge to stay up to date with everything new in Canvas, to benefit from new features and to guarantee the best possible experience for our customers.
