Working Student Designer

Are you an enthusiastic student of Civil Engineering or Landscape Engineering (mbo 4, hbo, or wo) and do you want to gain practical experience in real projects alongside your studies? Do you get energy from designing outdoor spaces and do you want to contribute to projects that make the Netherlands more beautiful, safer, and more livable? Then the position of Working Student Designer at Aveco de Bondt is for you!

As a working student, you will participate in the design team and work on current and challenging projects in both urban and rural areas. Think of developing designs for area developments, water safety challenges, or redevelopment projects.

You will support with:

• developing sketch designs into preliminary and final designs;

• creating drawings and design developments in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D;

• preparing technical documents, such as working drawings and specifications.

You will be involved in the design process from the very beginning and learn how ideas are translated into executable plans. In doing so, you will work together with experienced designers and engineers, consult with colleagues, and think along about smart and practical solutions. Depending on your availability and interests, you can also join project meetings or observe contact with clients.

Location: Nieuwegein or Eindhoven (hybrid working possible)
Hours: In consultation

• Student mbo 4, hbo, or wo in the field of Civil Engineering or Landscape Engineering;

• Available alongside your studies (hours in consultation);

• Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to gain practical experience;

• Accurate, communicative, and a true team player;

• Able to work (partly) on location in Nieuwegein or Eindhoven;

• Proficient in the Dutch language, both orally and in writing.

• An educational and flexible side job within a professional and committed team;
