At Ivy Global, we are looking for an experienced account manager for our Amsterdam office. Someone who sees opportunities, opens doors, and enjoys connecting companies with our talented Project Engineers.

We are a young and ambitious team in which growth, collaboration, and socializing are central. We regularly close the week together with drinks, and there is an open, positive atmosphere in which everyone takes responsibility for their own work and shares successes.

We have already spoiled it a little bit above, but you will be working as an account manager in Amsterdam, but also as a new building block of Ivy and of Ivy Amsterdam. Ivy's goal is to become the largest student service provider in the Netherlands by offering project-based work at our clients. The Netherlands has 350,000 students and new ones arrive every year; we therefore want to step out of our comfort zone: the technical sector, and start serving other markets. The intention is that you will become the trailblazer in this.

Mutual trust and a good bond are indispensable for you in your relationship with your clients. Your creativity, patience, optimism, and perseverance ensure fun new projects from which both the young talent within Ivy and your clients can reap the benefits.

In addition to account management, you will also be involved with Ivy internally. We are an entrepreneurial and fast-growing organization; in the Amsterdam region alone, we have gone from 2 to 12 internal staff members in 1.5 years! Including recruiters, project managers, and engineers, and of course two other account managers. It is therefore important that entrepreneurship and helping to build this growth is something you need in your work.

An Account Manager at Ivy is therefore a very dynamic role; you work together with all departments of Ivy and must therefore be able to keep many balls in the air. Although most of your colleagues at Ivy come from the technical world, this is certainly not a requirement. We are specifically looking for someone who will see if it is possible to roll out the concept of project-based work with students under the guidance of professionals into other sectors.
