Logistics Account Manager

At Den Hartogh, logistics is about more than just transport alone - from the first booking to the final invoice, you maintain the overview and build strong customer relationships. As Logistics Account Manager within the Global Business Unit, you manage your own (international) customers: you translate commercial and operational agreements into clear instructions for colleagues and supply chain partners, coordinate transport from order acceptance through to invoicing, and actively seek opportunities to expand and optimize the business. You are the linchpin who directs all parties - entrepreneurial, communicative, and proactive.

• You manage your own portfolio of (international) customers and are their fixed point of contact;

• Together with colleagues, you offer creative transport solutions to expand and optimize existing business;

• Operational execution and associated administration lie with you - from order acceptance to invoicing;

• Daily, you liaise with customers, internal departments, shipping companies, rail companies, cleaning stations, and other supply chain partners;

• You direct and monitor the entire process, ensuring every transport proceeds to the customer's satisfaction.

• You have an MBO/HBO level in logistics or transport, or several years of relevant work experience;

• You are commercial and entrepreneurial: you see opportunities to grow customers and business;

• You are communicatively strong and proactive and take independent responsibility for your own customers;

• You work in a customer-oriented, structured, problem-solving, and analytical manner, and manage both daily operations and improvement projects effectively;

• communicate excellently in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
