Individual Healthcare Provider (Verzorgende IG) – night shifts Hoek van Holland

You are a certified Individual Healthcare Provider, level 3, and are authorized and competent to perform the duties that belong to your position.

You can work independently and remain calm and alert during the night. You have an affinity for the elderly and residents with dementia and find it important to provide care based on attention, involvement, and trust.

You work carefully and professionally, communicate easily, and have an eye for what a resident needs. You think in solutions and look at what is possible.

• An employment contract of 9 hours per week;

• In principle, you work two night shifts every other week;

• Salary according to CAO VVT, FWG 35/40: 17.48 - 24.69 per hour / €2,735.91 - €3,864.43 gross per month based on 36 hours per week;

As an Individual Healthcare Provider, you ensure peace, safety, and good care for our residents during the night. You assist residents with their personal care and toileting, administer medication, and identify changes in health and well-being.

You are alert to care needs and unexpected situations and know how to respond calmly and professionally. Does a resident wake up during the night or does someone feel unsafe? Then you offer a listening ear and see what that person needs.

As an Individual Healthcare Provider, you are responsible for nursing technical care during the night shift, you work together with your colleague, and you perform the procedures for which you are authorized and competent.

Reporting is also part of the job during the night. You carefully record any specifics and ensure a good handover to your colleagues on the following shift.

In the event of an emergency in the neighborhood, it may occur that you go to the location. When necessary, you contact the GP or emergency services. For these situations, a car and an electric bicycle are available.
