You (almost) hold a Bachelor's degree in Optometry
You are registered in the quality register
You are eager to learn and stay up to date with developments within your field
A salary between €4,043 and €6,058 gross per month (FWG 55), in accordance with the ZKN collective labor agreement based on full-time employment (40 hours)
An end-of-year bonus of 8.33% and holiday allowance of 8.33%
Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer with a maximum of 80 km (one way). Do you travel by public transport? Then we reimburse these costs fully

This is where you will work
As part of the team at Bergman Clinics | Ogen in Doetinchem, you will work together with a diverse group of professionals, including optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmologists, Physician Assistants, and surgical assistants. In our focus clinic, we strive for personal, high-quality tailored care within a relaxed atmosphere. With a fully equipped outpatient clinic and our own operating rooms, we offer a wide range of services. The team consists of approximately 17 colleagues, each with their own specialty. The atmosphere is informal and friendly. We enjoy a good meal, and therefore organize a shared lunch every so often. Everyone brings something delicious (sometimes with a theme), which is then enjoyed together. And on Friday afternoons, we close the week together. Naturally, participation is not mandatory, but it is fun!

As an optometrist at our eye clinic in Doetinchem, you will work in a dedicated and professional environment where there is plenty of room for your own further development. You will deal with diverse ophthalmological issues and pathologies, ensuring that no two days are the same. Together with an expert team, you will provide high-quality eye care and receive all the space needed to further expand your knowledge and skills.
As an Optometrist in our eye clinic in Doetinchem, you will guide patients during their examination. You will independently perform the correct functional tests and work together with our ophthalmologists. Together with the ophthalmologist, you will advise and inform the patient. At the clinic, we perform, among other things, eyelid corrections, cataract surgeries, and vitreoretinal surgery. You will therefore see a wide range of clients.
Pre- and postoperative consultations
Performing functional tests such as visual field examinations, OCTs, and biometry
Administrative tasks such as processing patient information and drafting consultation reports
Attending paramedical and patient consultations
Supporting the ophthalmologists' consultations
