General Practitioner

This is what you will do:

As a General Practitioner at Stichting Humanitas, you will apply your medical knowledge to provide good and person-centered care to our residents. You will work within the treatment service and have a lot of contact with residents, relatives, and various healthcare professionals.

No two days are the same. You will be involved in medical check-ups and treatments, making diagnoses, and monitoring chronic conditions. You will also draw up and evaluate treatment plans. In doing so, you look not only at the medical situation but also at what is important to the resident and contributes to the best possible quality of life.

You are part of the treatment service of Stichting Humanitas. Within the treatment service, specialists in geriatric medicine, general practitioners, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work closely together. We work collaboratively with low thresholds, allowing room for consultation and everyone's own expertise.

The treatment service has a clear position within the organization and is managed by two treatment service managers. From the treatment service, we work together with various healthcare professionals and external partners.

You are a committed general practitioner who enjoys working with the elderly and has an eye for the person behind the care request. You enjoy working independently, but you also actively seek collaboration and consultation with colleagues.

You communicate easily with residents, relatives, and colleagues and know how to apply your medical knowledge in an understandable way.

Furthermore:

• You have completed a degree in Medicine;

• You are BIG-registered;

• You have an affinity for elderly care; experience within geriatric medicine is a plus;

• Can you work independently and do you take responsibility;

• You are open to feedback and want to continue developing yourself;

• You enjoy working together in a multidisciplinary team.

• A salary according to CAO VVT, FWG 65: €4,822.50 to €7,263.94 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week, depending on experience and scaling;
