Requirements

What we're looking for

  • You have a  completed education as a psychiatrist.

  • You are registered as a psychiatrist in the BIG register and with the Registration Committee for Medical Specialists (RGS).

  • You can switch gears easily and are familiar with various types of issues.

  • You have a curious attitude and find it interesting to discover different aspects of the profession.

  • You are a hands-on professional who enjoys being physically present on the work floor!

The role

Are you an experienced lead practitioner with a passion for mental healthcare and delivering high-quality care? Do you want to work flexibly and apply your expertise within different teams at GGZinGeest? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for colleagues who enjoy keeping multiple balls in the air, seek variety both in content and work-life balance, and who quickly feel at home in a new team. With this position, you will also have the freedom to contribute ideas regarding its organization and design.

We ask flexibility from you, and offer a flexible employment contract. With a min-max* contract, you have the freedom to work more hours during busy periods and reduce your working hours during quieter times, which ensures a good work-life balance. You appreciate that not everything is fixed and that you can organize your work flexibly. Furthermore, you get the chance to work in different teams and departments, which means you will deal with diverse care issues and your work remains varied and challenging every day! Interested? Apply directly!

  • The minimum number of hours stated in the contract is always paid, regardless of whether you have been called in. We understand that a large difference between the minimum and maximum number of hours can lead to uncertainty regarding income or availability. Therefore, we will determine the margin between the minimum and maximum number of hours together. There is no fixed limit for this, but in practice, we often maintain a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3. For example:

  • minimum 8 hours and maximum 16 hours per week (1:2).

  • minimum 8 hours and maximum 24 hours per week (1:3).

What you'll do

  • As a psychiatrist at FACT, you always work collaboratively. Thus, you work closely with the multidisciplinary team and referrers. You participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment plan discussions.

  • Your responsibilities include drafting and supervising treatment plans, including prescribing and monitoring medication. In collaboration with the client, involved practitioners, family, and GGZ inGeest network partners, you shape the treatment.

  • You provide consultation and advice to other team members, such as psychologists, nurses, and social workers, regarding complex cases. In doing so, you share your expertise and offer support in developing and implementing treatment strategies.

  • Additionally, you play an active role in providing supervision and support to other team members, such as doctors in training, nurse practitioners, and GZ psychologists, to ensure the quality of care and to stimulate their professional development.

  • We work closely with partners in healthcare and the social domain, each drawing from their own strengths.

  • We are moving towards a society where people with mental health problems are seen and heard.

  • We are committed to strong collaboration with regional care partners to attend to all aspects of a person's life. Together we contribute to recovery, each using our own strengths.

  • Central to our approach is a clear, methodical way of working. We optimize our processes and utilize e-health, so that we can devote maximum time and attention to our clients. With room for the client's input and the involvement of loved ones.

  • Our strength is our expertise, which we strengthen by investing in our employees and through academic research. We share this knowledge with partners in various domains such as education and employment.

A suitable working environment for you

  • Within GGZ inGeest, we offer the possibility to hire one or more flexible lead practitioners. As a flexible lead practitioner, you get the chance to put your vision on treatments into practice at multiple locations.

  • As a lead practitioner, you are deployed when there is a temporary need for extra lead practitioners within a team. The duration of how long you assist a team may vary; this could be 2 months in the case of sick leave or, for example, 3 months for maternity leave, up to longer. You can also be deployed to multiple teams simultaneously.

  • In consultation with the team, you will be assigned a select number of clients whose care is easily manageable. These clients are placed under your responsibility temporarily.

  • Where possible, you can delegate tasks to fellow practitioners to organize care efficiently and distribute the workload.

  • Together with fellow practitioners, you are jointly responsible for coordinating the care process with other healthcare providers, whereby your vision always forms the guiding principle.

Also important

  • You will receive a flexible contract and the position is scaled according to the AMS CAO GGZ.
