You have completed your medical degree and are BIG-registered as a general practitioner.
Work multidisciplinarily and outreaching with clients with severe psychiatric disorders within FACT. At GGZ inGeest, recovery and collaboration are central. You will remain connected to the academic world and will receive plenty of space to further develop yourself.
The FACT team treats adults up to 65 years old with a severe psychiatric disorder (SMI). They have requests for help in various areas of life, such as housing, work, meaning, health, finances, and social contacts.
We work according to the F-ACT method: an intensive form of outpatient and community-based treatment, in which different disciplines work together within one team from a recovery-oriented vision. Treatments take place in the client's own environment as much as possible.
In doing so, we always actively seek collaboration with the client, their loved ones, and chain partners. Our starting point is to connect as well as possible to the personal goals and wishes of the client.
Within FACT, you work in a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, GZ psychologists, general practitioners, outpatient nurses and caregivers, social workers, IPS job coaches, and trajectory coordinators. The team has short lines of communication with chain partners and colleagues from other departments within GGZ inGeest.
As a general practitioner within the FACT team, you never work alone. You have your own caseload and work closely with the multidisciplinary team and various referrers. You also participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment plan discussions.
You work outreaching and therefore see clients regularly in their own environment. You conduct intake interviews, medication consultations, supportive contacts, and physical examinations. Together with the client, you draw up treatment plans, which you then further elaborate.
In addition, you offer other team members consultation and advice regarding the medical aspects of care. By following up on appointments regularly where necessary, you contribute to the continuity of treatment.
Under the supervision of an experienced psychiatrist, you participate in the on-call system of GGZ inGeest.
Within GGZ inGeest, we offer training positions to become a psychiatrist. When you apply for this as an internal candidate, you will be invited for the first round of interviews by default.
Working as a general practitioner within GGZ inGeest is good preparation for training as a somatic specialist, GP, or psychiatrist.
For general practitioners, we have developed various education and intervision programs.
The position is scaled in FWG 65 of the ggz collective labor agreement.
