Junior Doctor Dermatology in the Netherlands

Are you an enthusiastic junior doctor with an interest in dermatology and do you want to further develop yourself in a dynamic clinical environment? At Bergman Clinics Huid & Vaten, you will get the opportunity to run consultations independently and gain experience in specialist dermatological care, under the guidance of experienced dermatologists.

You will start with a four-week induction period to get to know Bergman Clinics, the team, and the work processes. After that, you will start working independently, with a level of responsibility that matches your experience and where you feel comfortable.

As a junior doctor, you will run your own consultations under the supervision of our dermatologists. The duties will be determined in consultation and may consist of:

• Conducting (general) dermatology consultations.

• Providing information and advice to clients.

• Examining pre- and post-operative patients.

• Managing the administrative processing of the consultations.

• Making a proactive contribution to the improvement of quality and safety.

• Performing assisting tasks during outpatient procedures.

• Participating in (multidisciplinary) work meetings.

You will perform all these duties under the supervision of a dermatologist. Details regarding the start date and number of working days can be determined in mutual consultation.

• An enthusiastic and curious junior doctor who wants to come and strengthen our team;

• You have completed a degree in Medicine and possess a valid BIG registration;

• Preferably, you have relevant work experience as a junior doctor;

• You have a clear communication style and enjoy working together in a collegial team;

• You are customer-oriented, stress-resistant, flexible, and interested in the field of dermatology;

• You are available for at least 24 hours per week and flexible to potentially work in both Venray and Eindhoven; working days and location can be further coordinated.

This is where you will work

You will work in the Huid & Vaten focus clinic at the Venray location, potentially alternating with Eindhoven.

You will be working in our clinic in Venray, where you are part of a small and close-knit team consisting of two dermatologists and two junior doctors. There is close collaboration with fellow dermatologists from our other branches in Eindhoven and Bladel. We also maintain short lines of communication with the surrounding hospitals, which contributes to efficient and patient-centered care.
Our medical assistants form a well-coordinated team, which ensures a pleasant, dynamic working atmosphere. Thanks to the open communication and the willingness to help one another, a collegial and accessible team culture prevails.

Within Skin & Vessels, we focus on the care programs for (Mohs) dermatology, proctology, and varicose vein care. The treatment team of (Mohs') dermatologists, surgeons, vascular technicians, Mohs' analysts, and medical assistants works together intensively and is collectively responsible for the entire process surrounding the patient.
