• You have gained demonstrable experience in a similar position on large utility projects. You know the trade and know what it entails;

• You possess strong knowledge and experience with building-related installation technology. You understand mechanical engineering systems and assembly processes;

• You possess a valid VCA-VOL certificate. This is essential for safety on the shop floor;

As an electrical engineering site manager, you are the practical leader on the project. You know how to get things done and will receive full responsibility for execution on a challenging utility project in Amsterdam. You are the face of Dura Vermeer on the shop floor and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

You draw up execution and work plans and constantly monitor progress. You are the point of contact on the shop floor for technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, partners, and all other stakeholders. You are responsible for coordinating all activities and ensuring safety.

Safety always comes first in your role. You ensure that all work is carried out according to the applicable safety regulations and VCA-VOL standards. Additionally, you ensure that project documentation, test and inspection reports, and all other relevant reports are complete and in order. You are not just a site manager, but also a leader who motivates and inspires your team.

• You hold ultimate responsibility for the mechanical engineering execution. You draw up execution and work plans, coordinate all activities, and constantly monitor progress on the shop floor;

• You are the daily point of contact for technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. You are clear, communicate strongly, and know how to keep everyone aligned;

• You prioritize safety and ensure that all work is carried out according to VCA-VOL regulations and applicable legislation. You perform regular safety checks;

• You communicate regularly with project management, work planning, customers, and partners. You report progress, issues, and developments transparently.
