No two days are the same, and as a site manager, you are in the heart of the construction site, where you have leadership over the execution of the project. You work closely with the work planner and the project manager to arrange the organization of people, equipment, and materials as efficiently as possible. You are responsible for checking and monitoring processed quantities and know how to motivate your colleagues to execute the project in accordance with the contract, within the established schedule and work budget. In this, safety and quality always come first. Additionally, you participate in construction meetings, maintain contact with the client, and handle the necessary administrative tasks, such as identifying contract changes and preparing more/less work reports.

As a site manager, you work within the team alongside the project manager, project coordinator, and work planner. You manage the crews, which means you will be outside a lot. But you are also present in the site office and at project locations to, among other things, maintain daily reports, administration, and schedules. We work on projects in various locations, such as urban or industrial environments, but also in nature reserves. You maintain good contact with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

A glimpse of our projects: 

• Asphalt maintenance Breda: within a maintenance contract, we ensure the annual maintenance of the municipal road network, so that the roads remain safe and well-traversable. 
• Cosun Beet Company: at the large production site of this sugar beet processor, we are responsible for civil engineering maintenance, contributing to an efficient and safe working environment. 
• Urban reconstructions: we regularly realize projects between €500,000 and €3 million, where we renew and improve infrastructure to make cities and villages more accessible and livable. 

The job title sounds very operational, but it is actually necessary that you think first and then act. Which action delivers the best result? • A completed education in the direction of Civil Engineering, Infra, or Civil Engineering (GWW);  
• You have experience with projects from €0.5 million in infra, preferably in road construction;  
• You also have experience as a site manager or have ambitions in this field; 
• Additionally, you are result-oriented, proactive, and can identify with our core values; 
• You are familiar with various contract forms, such as RAW, UAV-GC, Bouwteams, and D&C.
