- You will work together with a fixed team at a fixed workplace.
Fatih: "As a technician, you do important work. I always keep the passengers in mind: they must be transported safely."
This is what you will do as a Train Technician in Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer
One train arrives for scheduled maintenance, while another needs something repaired. Grab your tools and get to work together: you work side by side with your fixed team.
Your job in short
- You perform inspections and scheduled maintenance on, among others, the latest generation of NS vehicles and international trains.
- You investigate malfunctions, resolve them, and report them clearly in our systems.
- You work according to clear work orders, but you are given all the space to think along about smarter, safer, and more efficient maintenance.
Where you will work
Large equipment, impressive technology, and great colleagues around you. Welcome to your fixed workplace: the maintenance facility in Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer. Here you work with your team of driven fellow technicians in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You tackle the work together and enjoy taking breaks with one another.
You work in a fixed rhythm of 2 early, 2 late, and 2 night shifts. After that, you are off for 4 days. You will receive an attractive allowance for your irregular working hours. Sometimes we coordinate your schedule in consultation with other teams, so you can step in where needed.
The working hours are:

- Late: 14:45 to 23:15
- Night: 22:45 to 07:15

These are the job requirements
