The role
Will you ensure that trains continue to run safely in Noord-Holland?

As a Signaling Technician, you will work daily on the safety and reliability of the railway. Thanks to your electrotechnical knowledge, sense of responsibility, and down-to-earth approach, signals, switches, and train protection systems will continue to function without malfunctions. This is how you ensure that trains run safely and on time. Through all kinds of weather.
Do you not yet possess all the knowledge of signaling systems? No problem. At Strukton Rail, we will train you to become a specialist. You bring technical insight, eagerness to learn, and team spirit. We will teach you the rest.
What you'll do
As a Signaling Technician, you will work on the maintenance and improvement of the rail infrastructure in the Amstelsepoort/ Kennemerland maintenance area.
You will be part of a permanent team and work closely with experienced colleagues.
Your activities include, among others:
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on train protection systems (signaling)
• Performing measurements and inspections on electrotechnical rail installations
• Solving malfunctions and identifying deviations, even outside your own specialty
• Monitoring safety for yourself, colleagues, and train traffic
• Continuously improving quality through training, knowledge sharing, and collaboration
• You work flexibly, sometimes at night or on weekends. This is, of course, met with an appropriate allowance.
