As Project Control Manager, you ensure that a project is 'in control' and you monitor the business contract with the client. You are the central hub. You find it important that there is overview within a project and you ensure that the team is aware of what needs to happen today, the day after tomorrow, or in two months. You are proactive in signaling to team members and you ensure that the agreed working arrangements, for example regarding financial management, are strictly followed up.
As Project Control Manager, you are responsible for controlling the GROTIK aspects in the projects and are always focused on maximum value in terms of quality, budget, and planning. On the project, you provide daily leadership to a team of experts who fill the various fields of work. Naturally, you must possess more qualities for this than just analytical ability and result-orientation; we also count on your empathy, persuasiveness, and coaching ability.
For this position, we are looking for a senior colleague with extensive experience within the following fields of project control:
monitoring the GROTIK aspects (Money, Risk, Time, Organization, Information, Quality) within the project; in this regard, you take action towards the Project Team and signal towards the Project Manager;
providing up-to-date control information on the GROTIK aspects for the purpose of decision-making;
identifying uncertainties within the project based on the GROTIK aspects and implementing control measures within the total (project) control process;
safeguarding the scope, internal and external interfaces, and deviations;
contributing to the integrated cooperation (internal and external) and satisfaction of the project team members;
drafting the project management plan and ensuring that the processes described therein are meticulously followed throughout the duration of a project;
Part of your package of tasks also concerns coordinating contract management on our assignment with the client, the so-called business contract. Together with the Project Manager, you monitor the financial scope of our assignment and
ensure that we know exactly where we stand financially on a daily basis. You are precisely aware of the budget, process more/less work, and ensure that the contracts with partners and suppliers are processed neatly. With your sharp eye, you see immediately when deviations occur. For example, regarding scope, planning, or finances.
