Warehouse Team Leader (5-Shift)

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in a logistics direction.

• 2 to 3 years of work experience in a supervisory logistics role, preferably within the food industry or pharmaceuticals.

• Experience with various types of interviews such as performance reviews, absenteeism discussions, and job interviews.

• Good communication skills in the Dutch and English languages, both verbal and written.

• Experience with the use of computer systems (Office, WMS, and SAP).

As Warehouse Team Leader, you coordinate and supervise the execution of activities within the shift regarding all incoming and outgoing goods flows, storage, and the administrative processing thereof. You ensure the team functions efficiently and effectively with the goal of achieving PSQSC (Personal, Quality and Social Commitments) objectives.

• Responsible for the planning and realization of goods flows for production and 3PL.

• Ensures timely ordering and receipt inspection of raw materials and packaging.

• Performs stock counts and monitors inventory discrepancies.

• Ensures sufficient storage capacity and organizes training for warehouse employees.

• Shares information regarding special requests, non-conformities, and complaints.

• Ensures employees follow safety standards and complete BSO monthly.

• Initiates actions in case of deviations, damages, and near-misses.

• Monitors compliance with SOPs, WIs, EHS, and GMP/GDP/SAMR guidelines.

• Performs daily quality and safety rounds and makes improvement suggestions.

• Identifies and implements improvements for efficiency, cost, and safety.

• Provides support where necessary using a forklift (e.g., in the absence of a colleague).

• Coordinates, coaches, and motivates the team, and monitors personnel capacity.

• Responsible for the transfer of information between teams.

• Manages HR tasks such as absenteeism, recruitment & selection, and performance reviews.

• Monitors the quality of team output and conducts work meetings.

• Sets team objectives and takes corrective actions if necessary.

• Provides input for team plans and works out improvement proposals.
