In the role of Project Coördinator, you will be involved in:

• Coordinating project activities, resources, and schedules in close cooperation with the Project Manager and your foreman(s).
• Supporting the planning, organizing, and follow-up of project activities, meetings, and actions.
• Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and reporting on project performance.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, reports, and necessary project data.
• Facilitating effective communication between internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Supporting the identification, registration, and resolution of project-related risks and operational challenges.
• Supporting budget monitoring, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Overseeing compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during the execution of projects.

We are looking for a proactive and driven Project Coördinator to support our Projects & Production department within Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam.

In this role, you will support Project Managers during the execution of repair, maintenance, conversion, and refit projects. You will be involved in planning, coordination, budget monitoring, technical administration, and communication with stakeholders. In this way, you contribute to the safe, efficient, and successful execution of projects.

You will work in a dynamic, operational environment in which flexibility, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential. Occasional travel to suppliers, customers, or project locations is part of the possibilities.

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in the direction of Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, Project Management, or a comparable level achieved through experience.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in a project support or project coordination role, preferably within the maritime, industrial, or technical sector.
• Affinity with ship repair, maintenance, conversion projects, or other technical work environments is a strong plus.
• Experience with project management and planning software, such as MS Project, is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in both Dutch and English.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with different disciplines within an operational environment.
