What you'll do
From design to commissioning. From stakeholder management to commissioning. As a Superintendent Projects, you are the one who ensures that projects are not only built, but also successfully land in operations.
For the Projects department, we are looking for a Superintendent Projects. In this challenging and versatile role, you will work at the intersection of projects, operations, and maintenance. You will fulfill a key role in the realization of investment and improvement projects and contribute directly to the further development and growth of Gate.
As a Superintendent Projects, you will manage multidisciplinary project activities, monitor progress, planning, quality, and safety, and ensure smooth cooperation between all involved disciplines. You bring different disciplines together, ensure effective collaboration, and maintain focus on the collective result. You play an important role during commissioning, start-up, and the handover of new installations to the line organization. Additionally, you support the Projects Manager in the daily management of the department and make an active contribution to the further professionalization of our project organization.
We are looking for a colleague who takes initiative, maintains an overview in a dynamic environment, and gets energy from connecting people and interests. Someone who shows ownership, sees opportunities, and knows how to bring projects successfully from idea to commissioning.

The projects department of Gate terminal consists of a relatively young team of approximately seven technical specialists. The Projects department develops multidisciplinary technical projects. Assignments are carried out in such a way that they are realized on time and within the budgeted costs and meet the requirements and (government) regulations within the focus areas of Civil, Control & Instrumentation, Electrical, Piping, and Mechanical.
