The role
As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Ballast Nedam Development, you are the professional who brings structure, predictability, and quality to the construction process. You monitor agreements, lead teams with clarity, and ensure that our ambitions are realized within the agreed planning and costs. You combine technical expertise with strong leadership and have a sharp eye for both detail and progress.
What you'll do
You are the primary point of contact for the main contractor throughout the entire construction process.
You assess design documents, estimates, open budgets, schedules, and optimizations - and translate these into clear decisions.
You drive the negotiation process with the main contractor and safeguard quality, safety, and value.
You supervise the execution: visiting construction sites, construction meetings, and progress checks are part of your regular routine.
You organize and monitor variations (more and less work) and ensure that everything is administratively correct.
You accurately check invoices, progress payments, and extensions.
You report clearly and promptly to internal and external stakeholders.
You support projects in the tendering and early design stages (SO/VO) regarding costs and planning - with a focus on realism and control.
