Maintenance Work Preparer

Do you want to play a key role in the maintenance of one of the most extraordinary hydraulic engineering structures in the Netherlands? Do you have experience with work preparation in a technical or infrastructural environment and do you ensure that activities are prepared in great detail? Then we are looking for a Maintenance Work Preparer for the Krammersluizen in Bruinisse.

The Krammersluizen form a crucial link in the Dutch water infrastructure. As a Maintenance Work Preparer, you ensure that maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. You translate maintenance plans into executable work packages and act as the connecting link between planning, execution, subcontractors, and the client: Rijkswaterstaat.

You work within the maintenance team and have daily contact with colleagues, maintenance specialists, and various executing partners. In doing so, you maintain continuous oversight of safety, quality, planning, and contractual agreements.

What else will you be involved in as a maintenance work preparer: 

• Translating preventive and corrective maintenance activities into concrete work orders.
• Drafting work instructions, drawings, material overviews, and logistical plans.
• Checking the completeness of work packages before execution begins.
• Identifying interfaces between different disciplines and proposing suitable solutions.
• Drafting and assessing risk analyses, HSE documents, and safety measures.
• Coordinating activities with the availability and closure planning of the lock.
• Monitoring dependencies between activities, equipment, and specialist disciplines.
• Recording maintenance data and object information in management systems such as Hexagon.
• Processing additional work, change requests, and fault registrations.
• Supporting reporting and progress meetings towards Rijkswaterstaat.
• Contributing to improvements in maintenance processes, documentation, and asset information.
