As a Junior Data Engineer at Incentro, you will contribute to state-of-the-art data infrastructures that help companies operate smarter and optimize their processes. Our clients process enormous amounts of data, but without the right infrastructure, opportunities remain untapped. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that data becomes reliable, scalable, and usable.

What this means in concrete terms (examples):

With Python, SQL, and various cloud and data technologies, you will learn to build data platforms, ETL pipelines, and data solutions that contribute directly to sustainability, cost savings, and process optimization.

You don't need to be able to do all of this yet. Precisely because you are curious and eager to learn, we will help you further expand your knowledge and skills.

• at Alliander, you will work on a data platform that helps with the smart management of energy networks. This ensures that peak loads are better predicted and energy is distributed more intelligently

• at Simon Loos, you will contribute to solutions that optimize logistical processes and thereby help reduce CO₂ emissions

• at Hutten, you will work on a smart waste monitor that provides real-time insight into inventory management and helps reduce food waste

You are part of our Data Solutions cell, where you work together with 40 data engineers, data scientists, BI specialists, and cloud architects. Together, we build smart, scalable data solutions and transform data into concrete impact for leading companies.

As a junior, you will work closely with experienced colleagues. You will receive guidance where necessary, but also the space to take on increasing responsibility. In this way, you will not only develop yourself technically, but also learn how to build data solutions that align with the client's needs.

For us, experience is less important than your strong ambition to become a Data Engineer. Therefore, you certainly do not need to meet all the points below. We are primarily curious about what you want to learn and where you want to go.

You recognize yourself in the core values mentioned above. Additionally, you have:

• a completed HBO or WO degree in, for example, Data Science, Computer Science, Informatics, Technical Informatics, Mathematics, or a similar field

• basic knowledge of Python and/or SQL

• interest in data engineering and cloud technology

• an analytical and curious attitude: you want to understand how things work and are not afraid to ask questions

• the ambition to develop yourself into a full-fledged Data Engineer and consultant

• you speak (fluent) Dutch and English

Have you just graduated or have you already gained some experience with data? Both are welcome. Perhaps you have already completed projects with Python, SQL, data pipelines, cloud, or machine learning during your studies. Or perhaps you have further deepened your knowledge of data outside of your studies. We are primarily looking at your potential.

This is a plus, but not a requirement!

• experience with Snowflake and DBT

• knowledge of Spark, Airflow, or Kubernetes

• experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• experience with Git and CI/CD

• experience with data analysis, ETL, or data modeling

• personal projects in the field of data
