Medior Data Engineer

• You have 2 to 6 years of work experience

• You have an engineering mindset, a passion for data and data technology, and an ambition to further develop yourself. 

• You have extensive experience with SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks and packages such as PySpark and Pandas. 

• You have experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar data platform technologies.

• You are familiar with designing and building deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. 

• You have experience working according to DevOps methodologies. 

• You have a BSc or MSc degree in a technical field, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering. 

• You have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design and build data-driven products and to create a new data backbone for our data science projects. The Data Engineer will take the lead in bringing our clients to the next level of data handling and data automation capabilities. Furthermore, you will apply (technical) leadership skills, experience, and vision to create efficient data applications.

• Takes the lead in designing and building reusable data models and solutions.

• Develops data pipelines, including ETL processes, and sets up data lakes and data warehouses.

• Operationalizes analysis methods and applies them in practice.

• Sets up and manages the necessary cloud infrastructure.

• Is accustomed to working in a commercially oriented and/or consulting organization.

• Likes working in a team setting with colleagues with different skills.

• Feels at home in an environment with highly motivated people who focus on delivering the highest quality to clients.
