Senior Designer

Do you have extensive experience as a designer within civil engineering and are you ready to play a substantive leadership role? As a Senior Civil Engineering Designer at Aveco de Bondt, you will work on complex projects where your technical insight, experience, and coordinating skills come together.

You combine in-depth professional knowledge with a helicopter view and are able to safeguard design quality within multidisciplinary teams. You mentor colleagues, monitor the integrity of designs, and ensure that technical choices align with the client's vision.

• Leading in the technical implementation of civil engineering designs.

You work on design issues within infrastructural projects, ranging from urban redesigns to dike reinforcements and reconstructions of rural roads. You assess designs for quality, safety, and feasibility and act as a sparring partner for both clients and colleagues.

In addition to performing design tasks, you guide younger colleagues in their development. You share knowledge, guide the design team, and monitor the cohesion between different disciplines. You actively contribute ideas regarding innovations within the design profession and contribute to the further development of our design standards.

• HBO or WO working and thinking level, in the field of Civil Engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience as a designer or design lead in civil engineering projects.
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and relevant design standards.
• A coaching attitude and communicative strength.
• Ability to provide direction, coordinate, and safeguard quality.

• A salary between €5,000 and €6,800 per month (based on 40 hours).
