(Senior) Manager Financial Services Consulting

• A university degree, preferably in a field of Business, IT, and/or Economics  

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in consulting, transformation, or program management within the financial sector  

• Proven experience with delivery leadership: you have successfully led complex projects or programs at banks, insurers, or pension funds 

• Experience as an advisor, project manager, program manager, or change manager in a regulated environment 

• Experience with commercial responsibility within a substantive role: account development, business development, quotes, and propositions 

• A strong network within the Dutch financial sector 

• You know or understand relevant laws and regulations within Financial Services  

• Strong stakeholder management skills: you can switch between management, business, IT, and risk & compliance 

• You speak and write excellent Dutch and English 

• Knowledge of (IT) Operating Models or enterprise architecture. 

• Experience with Agile/SAFe transformations, DevOps implementations, or ways of working changes in the financial sector 

• Knowledge of data & AI strategies, GenAI use cases, data governance, or advanced analytics in the financial sector 

• Experience with cybersecurity, financial crime prevention, or identity & access management 

• Familiarity with Open Finance, Instant Payments, PSD2/PSD3

• A permanent contract and a gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €8,700 based on full-time employment (40 hours per week);

As (Senior) Manager Financial Services Consulting at Sopra Steria Next you help organizations successfully realize these changes. You work directly with executives and senior stakeholders on strategic and technological transformations and ensure that plans are actually executed. 

In this role: 

• you lead complex transformation programs at banks, insurers, fintechs, and pension funds
• you advise executives and senior management on digital strategy

You work at the intersection of business, technology, and governance and help organizations translate strategy into concrete results. In doing so, you guide complex change processes and ensure structure, effective decision-making, and successful execution.

A practical example: 
An insurer wants to accelerate the implementation of AI and cloud capabilities, while multiple delivery teams, vendors, and governance structures are involved. You help the organization align strategy, decision-making, and execution, and ensure that the transformation is actually realized. 

Advising on strategic transformations 
You support executives and senior management in complex decision-making regarding technology and organization and act as a trusted advisor on strategic issues. 

You: 

• advise on strategies regarding data, AI, cloud, and digital platforms 
• translate strategic goals into roadmaps and implementation plans 
• support decision-making in steering committees and executive boards 

Leading complex programs 
You are responsible for the successful execution of transformations.
