Project Manager Water Optimization

As a Project Manager Water Optimization, you will work on challenging and socially relevant projects within the water sector. Together with clients, technical specialists, and project teams, you will realize innovative and sustainable solutions for drinking, industrial, and wastewater.

You are responsible for the successful organization, management, and delivery of projects, ranging from renovations and expansions of water treatment plants to complex optimization and innovation issues. In doing so, you ensure good cooperation between all parties involved and monitor the progress, quality, planning, and finances of projects.

In this role, you are the connecting link between clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders. You:

• are responsible for the planning, organization, and successful execution of projects
• manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure effective cooperation
• monitor project objectives regarding scope, planning, budget, quality, and risks
• maintain contact with clients and other stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout the project
• identify opportunities for follow-up assignments and contribute to the further growth of our consultancy practice
• ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of projects

You play an important role in realizing projects that contribute to a sustainable and future-proof water chain.

You are an experienced project manager who maintains an overview, connects people, and works in a result-oriented manner. Additionally, you possess:

• a completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in a technical, civil engineering, or environmental direction
• 3 - 5 years of experience in project management within the water sector, infrastructure, or a comparable technical environment
• experience in managing multidisciplinary projects and teams
• knowledge of contract, risk, and stakeholder management
• strong communication skills in Dutch and the ability to build and maintain relationships
• a proactive, entrepreneurial, and customer-oriented attitude
