What we're looking for

At least 5 years of relevant work experience within SAP transformation, implementation, or project management environments, including part of that in a leadership or project responsibility role.
A completed university (Master's) degree, preferably in (Technical) Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a similar field.
A demonstrable track record in ERP implementation and transformation projects, where you realize successful results for both clients and the organization.
Excellent command of the Dutch language, both oral and written, at a professional level (MUST). You are able to independently lead client meetings, workshops, presentations, and commercial trajectories in Dutch. Additionally, you possess an excellent command of English in speech and writing and are able to communicate effectively in an international environment.
For this position, we are looking for candidates who are residing in the Netherlands at the time of their application and are available to serve clients within the Dutch market.
Relevant certifications in the field of project management, such as PMI, PRINCE2, Scrum, and/or SAP Activate, are a plus.

Nice to have

A good understanding of SAP S/4HANA and related technological trends.
Recent experience in a Change Management, Test Management, and/or Cutover Management role within SAP programs is a strong advantage.
Relevant commercial (sales/pre-sales) experience and/or the ambition to develop in this area. The ability to effectively manage, motivate, and coach a team. You lead not only the projects, but also the people within the project team.
You can make complex SAP solutions understandable for non-IT experts, such as business stakeholders.
You have an affinity with (generative) AI and are motivated to actively apply this technology in your daily work
You have experience working with (partially) offshore teams

The role

As an SAP Project Manager within KPMG NL, you are responsible for successfully guiding SAP trajectories throughout the entire lifecycle. You support pre-sales activities and client meetings (sometimes as a Bid Manager), make an active contribution to proposals and tenders, and ensure a smooth transition to the delivery phase. During realization, you take charge of projects and programs, build sustainable client relationships, and drive successful results for both the client and KPMG.

You work closely with clients, KPMG Enterprise Architects, and experts from various SAP domains to realize valuable solutions. The trajectories vary from SAP S/4HANA transformations, Data, AI, and other SAP-related projects that contribute to our clients' strategic objectives.

In addition to your role towards clients, you actively contribute to the further development of our SAP Project Management practice. You share knowledge and experiences with colleagues, act as a sparring partner regarding project and program management issues, and help to continuously professionalize our services, working methods, and quality.

What you'll do

Leading SAP projects and programs for Dutch and international clients.
Monitoring scope, planning, budget, quality, and risks to achieve successful project results. Translating client objectives into an actionable roadmap and effective project approach.
Managing multidisciplinary teams consisting of clients, KPMG Enterprise Architects, and SAP specialists from various domains.
Directing different types of trajectories in various industries where S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud and related solutions are the primary underlying IT solutions.
Successful delivery of our projects from both the client perspective and the KPMG perspective.
