Do you have a passion for existing real estate and do you want to play a key role in the growth of our advisory team at the Amstelveen or Holten office? For the Existing Real Estate team, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Project Manager who links technical knowledge to customer focus, commerce, project management, and project control. You will work on challenging research and advisory assignments and, in doing so, connect our teams in Amstelveen and Holten.
As Project Manager Existing Real Estate, you will work at the Amstelveen or Holten office and work closely with our professionals in Holten and Nieuwegein. Despite this distance, you know how to create a sense of teamwork among colleagues at the different locations.
On the one hand, you work on a wide range of advisory and research projects within utility and residential construction. In addition, you supervise inspections or investigations, carry them out with your team, and translate findings into clear tactical advice. You also ensure a smooth project progression. At the same time, you build your (commercial) network and make an active contribution to the growth of our team and our regional presence. On average, you are out on projects or at clients about 2 days per week;
You are given a lot of freedom to demonstrate entrepreneurship and help build a growing office. Your work week is varied and dynamic, from visiting project sites to brainstorming with colleagues and drafting quotes or advisory reports.
Your concrete tasks and responsibilities include:
Independently securing assignments and building and maintaining a (personal) network in the region;
You analyze and fathom the client's request, investigate possibilities, and know how to translate these into a clear research question, a concrete proposal, and ultimately an (integral) advisory report;
You are responsible for managing and realizing multiple projects simultaneously, which are carried out by the team with you (up to approx. 15 projects in different phases);
You lead a team working on specialist investigations related to management and maintenance, ranging from structural investigations with advice and structural assessments to integral sustainability and transformation issues;
You lead the project team, consisting of inspectors, advisors, and technical specialists (including the disciplines of construction, sustainability, building physics, and fire safety);
You work intensively with the specialists in Holten and Nieuwegein and bring together the knowledge from both offices in projects.
A portfolio issue for a water board where, on the one hand, re-inspections are carried out based on NEN2767, for which you bear project management responsibility. In addition, you help the client make strategic and tactical considerations (also regarding sustainability) for their real estate portfolio. In doing so, you provide insight into investment costs and value.
Or you work for a government agency with a portfolio of over 1000 buildings spread throughout the Netherlands. In this role, you are responsible for performing structural assessments of existing roofs (among other things in relation to PV panels), as well as for renovations or sustainability projects. Due to your thorough knowledge of the client, you are able to think integrally and look beyond the initial request. This enables you to broaden your activities and also take on issues outside your primary expertise, such as infra-related projects, for example.
Providing integral technical advice for an industrial client for a large number of flat roofs totaling 9,000m2. Many disciplines come together here, such as construction (revision of drainage plan & renovation), asbestos inventory, building physics (condensation issues), and fire safety (in addition to current regulations, also requirements from insurers). Because you know the client and the processes well, you can visualize the challenges within your field and the final execution for your client. Want to know more about this? See the link below:
