Production Coordinator Systems

The role

As a production coordinator at VDL ETG Eindhoven Systems, you are responsible for coordinating the planning for production in the cleanrooms and the associated logistics. You monitor and control the material flow according to the production plan and contribute to ensuring that production can start on time and free of shortages. You provide support during problems and contribute ideas for improvements in the complex processes within our matrix-managed organization.

• Resolving issues within the entire material flow;
• Identifying bottlenecks in the Supply Chain and proactively resolving them with the departments involved
• Starting production orders and issuing instructions to the warehouse;
• Monitoring the outgoing material flow together with the production leader and communicating about this with the Order Manager, Planners, and Production;
• Participating in daily stand-ups and meetings to discuss operational matters;
• Controlling the pre-calculation/post-calculation material flow;
• Initiating and supporting continuous improvement projects regarding the (logistical) management of assembly or process optimization.

Your strength

As a production coordinator at VDL ETG Eindhoven, you have an eye for process improvement and efficiency. You have a proactive attitude, are a team player with good communication skills, and are naturally solution-oriented. Relevant experience through work experience or internships is, of course, strongly preferred. You also bring the following:

• Completed HBO or WO degree in the direction of Technical Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Affinity with both logistics and technology;
• Knowledge of logistical concepts in ERP systems is a plus.

In addition, you have:

• An eye for process improvement and efficiency
• A proactive attitude and sense of responsibility
• Analytical ability and the capacity to think in a solution-oriented manner
• Strong communication skills and are a true team player
