DescriptionJob objectiveAt this moment we are looking for an Assembly Technician Precision Engineering for the System Units Production department. You are responsible for the independent planning, execution, and optimization of activities within precision engineering production, according to the prescribed specifications and instructions. Together with your colleagues in production, you ensure that we can deliver high-quality products to our customers.ResponsibilitiesTasks and responsibilitiesYour main responsibilities are the following:• The production of our innovatively high-quality equipment. Within precision engineering production, you make use of all conventional machining tools, hand tools, measuring tools, tooling, soldering equipment, laser engraving machines, validated gluing processes, and state-of-the-art plastic bending processes.• The activities are carried out in consultation with the manager, based on production orders, drawings, work instructions, and final test procedures.• You hold regular consultations with the manager regarding progress and priorities.• You are responsible for the final test and record the data in a measurement report.• You ensure that QA procedures and safety regulations are complied with.• You ensure that the produced products are provided with a lot/serial number (after it has been established that the produced products meet the stated specifications).• You ensure the quality of test tools, measuring tools, and other tools.• You act according to Lean Manufacturing principles and thoughts, take the initiative for improvement suggestions, and make an active contribution to improvement projects.• In your daily activities, you comply with the medical (legislative) guidelines on how to handle medical devices (FDA 510 / ISO 13485 / MDD).AuthoritiesThe independent assembly and final testing of medical equipment. Additionally, having the capacity to think along and decide on improvements within the department.Relevant Knowledge, skills and competenciesTo be successful in this technical role, we are looking for someone who quickly masters information and processes, has a technical background, and has experience within a manufacturing company.You bring the following education, knowledge, and experience with you:• Completed MBO education in the direction of precision engineering or similar;• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.• Knowledge and/or experience in the production of medical products and components (e.g., FDA 510k and ISO 13465 guidelines) is a plus.• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is a plus.
• Additionally, it is important that you possess the following competencies: quality-conscious, communicative, and proactive in action.
