Project Manager Energy & Subsurface

You are responsible for cool projects in the field of the energy transition from the perspective of the subsurface. And together with your project teams, you achieve great results, contributing to the sustainability of the Netherlands.

What do you do as a Project Manager Energy & Subsurface at Antea Group?

You will be responsible for acquiring and managing multidisciplinary projects where soil and subsurface issues play an important role. You will do this for cable and pipeline operators, contractors, developers, and land managers: parties that engage us for our high-quality expertise in areas such as soil, archaeology, ecology, unexploded ordnance, nitrogen, and safety. Disciplines that we all have in-house. You see our added value and know how to communicate it convincingly to clients and the surrounding environment.

You provide structure and direction to projects, both in the planning phase and during execution. With your motivating approach, you know how to empower team members and stimulate collaboration. Together with management, you monitor the forecast and ensure that agreements are met. You work closely with project leaders to guarantee progress and keep clients well-informed. Additionally, you develop original approaches, alternatives, and solutions for issues and tenders together with specialists. Thanks to your commercial insight, you position our solutions convincingly to customers and know how to secure great assignments.

• Entrepreneurship, networking, and realizing great projects together with clients at the intersection of societal developments (such as the energy transition and housing);

• Building your own client network with full freedom and independently acquiring assignments - always with a fellow project manager to brainstorm with;

• Developing original solutions and approaches together with specialists;

• Discovering the question behind the client's question and providing surprising answers;

• Leading and inspiring project teams.

• A completed HBO or WO degree with at least 8 years of experience in the field of soil research or related fields is a plus;

• A coaching style of leadership;

• A relevant network within government, contracting, or cable and pipeline operators;

• Experience with acquiring and managing multidisciplinary projects;

• Organizational talent: you like to get things done, plan in a structured manner, and do not like half-finished work;

• An eye for commercial opportunities: you know how to convert market signals and trends into concrete assignments;

• An eager-to-learn attitude and a willingness to continuously develop yourself;

• Pragmatic, creative, and hands-on.
