Requirements
What we're looking for
A completed HBO or WO degree (technical and/or business administration)
At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategic procurement
Demonstrable experience in leading complex sourcing processes
A broad generic foundation with one or more specialisms (T-profile)
Experience across multiple sectors
You are a strong interlocutor, communicate at management and board levels, and combine substantive depth with overview and leadership

The role
As a senior procurement professional, you will be deployed within larger and more complex organizations where strategic direction, experience, and seniority are required. You lead strategic sourcing processes, work with high spend and complex supplier markets, and act as a substantive sparring partner for senior management and the board. You often operate in multidisciplinary client teams and bear responsibility for direction, results, and quality.
What you'll do
You work on strategic assignments where you take the lead and set the substantive direction. Think of:
Leading strategic sourcing and tendering processes
Being responsible for categories with high spend and complexity
Developing and implementing supplier and category strategies
Advising senior stakeholders, management, and the board
Ensuring governance, risk & compliance within procurement
Coaching (medior/junior) procurement professionals and bringing structure to teams
