Technical Manager Traineeship

Do you want to work on the technical side of large infrastructural projects? As a Junior Technical Advisor at Adjust Bouw & Infra, you will contribute to projects such as bridges, tunnels, railways, waterworks, and energy infrastructure. From day one, you will be part of real project teams. You will discover how technology, collaboration, and project processes come together in practice and develop yourself step by step towards a role as a technical manager.

Within construction and infra projects, you will work together in an IPM team (Integrated Project Management team). In such a team, various specialists work together to successfully realize a project, such as project managers, project controllers, contract managers, and environment managers.

As a junior technical advisor, you will support the monitoring of the technical content of projects.

Important to know: this is not the classic "die hard engineer" work where you spend the whole day calculating or drawing. Therefore, you do not need to be a designer. However, it is important that you find technology interesting and understand it sufficiently to properly assess solutions and translate requirements and wishes into technical principles.

You will learn how complex projects are technically organized and how different disciplines come together within large infrastructural projects.

• Complex urban infrastructure projects, for example, the redesign of busy traffic arteries or inner-city area development.

• Large construction projects where different disciplines come together, such as bridges, tunnels, roads, dikes, water treatment plants, pumping stations, or utility construction.

• The construction of sustainable mobility solutions, such as bicycle highways or electric charging infrastructure.

• A training budget for two years of €5,000/year;

• A 32+8 work week, in which you spend 8 hours weekly on your professional and personal development;
