  • To be eligible for this role, you possess:
    • Experience within Procurement in a collaborative, high‑performance environment, preferably within the Talent Procurement category.

    • The ability to align activities with key stakeholders and influence them where necessary, combined with an international / global mindset.
    • Experience with the execution of RFP processes and negotiations.
    • Excellent command of English; knowledge of the German language is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Business acumen and commercial skills to help leadership drive procurement and demand management strategies across a broad array of portfolios for the Talent function.
  • Strong negotiator and influencer capable of supporting leadership in driving alignment with key senior stakeholders and leaders.
  • Knowledge and interest in the Talent landscape with an understanding of offerings in Talent arena such as Human Capital, Rewards and Benefits, Learning and Development, and Health & Insurances.

  • A Bachelor's and follow-on degree in Business or similar discipline is recommended.

The role

Supply Chain Services (SCS) is a global team of more than 600 professionals in more than 35 countries that supports the EY organization worldwide. A key part of SCS is Global Procurement. The goal of this team is to realize more synergy and value creation across the entire chain - from procurement to contract lifecycle management - within the spend categories of Talent, Technology, and Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC). We build sustainable supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY create maximum value for our people, clients, and society. As a member of the Talent Procurement team, you will get the opportunity to work within a professional team of procurement specialists in an international working environment, and work together with colleagues on challenging procurement projects in the Netherlands. This structure helps enable knowledge-sharing across categories and regions, streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCS's value for the EY organization and the world's supply chain.

A key component of SCS is Global Procurement, whose purpose is to drive more significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management, deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology, Talent and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) spend categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize long-term value for its people, clients and communities.

As a Talent Procurement Team member, you will have the opportunity to work with a professional team of Procurement professionals in a global environment and work with colleagues on interesting sourcing projects from The Netherlands. What you'll do

  • The end‑to‑end execution of procurement processes: From procurement strategy and supplier selection to negotiation and contracting.
  • Building and actively managing a robust pipeline of procurement projects, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • The efficient management and optimization of the tail spend category, characterized by a high volume of suppliers.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner for your stakeholders, while delivering excellent service.
  • The effective management of costs, including realizing structural cost savings and added value for both EY and our employees.
  • The structural monitoring and reporting of the progress of procurement initiatives, including achieved results, savings, and risks, to stakeholders and management.
  • Actively collaborating with colleagues within the Global Procurement team in Europe West on broader initiatives and wherever opportunities arise.
  • Working closely with Risk Management to minimize contractual risks for the organization.
  • Actively promoting, explaining, and facilitating the Global Procurement & Supply Chain policy and the associated processes, so that stakeholders understand and comply with the added value.
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to EY stakeholders, aligning projects with the business pipeline and providing exceptional customer service while delivering both brand and quantitative value through cost savings, cost avoidance and contract value realization
  • Work with senior stakeholders and Global Procurement team members to support a category strategy which supports the overall global strategy
  • Work closely with risk management and Vendor Assurance to minimize contractual risks to the organization and demonstrate year on year improvement in quantitative value
  • Develop relationships with key EY business stakeholders and report category insights and progress via regular meetings
  • Socialization and facilitation of the Procurement and Supply Chain Global Policy and processes, ensuring that the project teams and stakeholders understand the value of the policy and adhere accordingly
  • Managing and support Requests for Proposals (RFP's), including commercial contractual negotiations and work closely with other business partners including Legal (GCO), Global Client Serving Partners, Sector Leaders, etc. on a regular basis
