The role

Product Manager Value Chain Integration
You are the link between users, technology, and the internal organization. In this way, you translate market needs into smart software solutions and contribute to the further development of our products.

As a Product Manager at 4PS, you combine strategic product management with technical affinity. You immerse yourself in the challenges of customers and users and translate these into smart, scalable software solutions. In doing so, you work closely with customers, consultants, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our solutions continue to align with market needs.

Within this role, you focus on the HomeCTRL and Control domains. HomeCTRL focuses on buyer guidance and communication surrounding the process from sale through to aftercare. Within Control, solutions regarding chain collaboration come together, where BIP also becomes part of this domain. Additionally, overarching developments such as document management play a role within your responsibility. You safeguard the cohesion between these domains and translate developments and needs into a clear product vision and roadmap.

Our product: 4PS Construct
Our product, 4PS Construct, is an ERP solution for companies in the construction, installation, and project sectors. To make our software package practical and efficient for all end users, we have developed various solutions that are integrated with 4PS Construct.

Within your product domain, it is about connecting parties, processes, and information flows. In doing so, you look not only at the individual solutions, but specifically at how these can better align with one another. In this way, you work towards one clear direction for the broader domain of chain integration.

What you'll do

  • You are responsible for the development, introduction, and further development of the solutions within your product domain;
  • You develop a clear product vision and translate this into a coherent roadmap;
  • You regularly engage in conversation with customers and users to gather needs, challenges, and market developments;
  • You translate customer and market needs into scalable software solutions and elaborate these into functional designs;
  • You work closely with the development teams to realize new and improved functionalities;
  • You understand functional and technical dependencies and incorporate these into product decisions;
  • You set priorities based on customer value, user impact, technical possibilities, available capacity, and product strategy;
  • Within 4PS, you work together with various stakeholders, such as developers, consultants, business analysts, engineering, marketing, and support;
  • You bring different interests together, create support, and dare to make clear choices;
  • You communicate clearly about the chosen direction, priorities, and expectations.

This is what you bring as a Product Manager

This is what you can expect as a Product Manager
"As a Product Manager, you have an important role within the further development of our products. You work together with various stakeholders, both inside and outside 4PS. You are given the freedom and responsibility to make your product domain a success as an 'internal entrepreneur'."

You conduct market research and immerse yourself in customers and users to properly understand their needs. You determine and safeguard the strategic product roadmap and ensure that our solutions continue to align with customer needs, market developments, and the long-term strategy of 4PS.

You actively participate in the development process, make trade-offs between functional and technical priorities, and contribute to a successful introduction of new functionalities.
