Do you want to create maximum value for municipalities, providers, and end users with the Gemeentepas? You can do this as a Product Owner. You form the hub between business, technology, and operations and are able to translate the strategic goals of the organization into tactical goals and set up a clear product vision, roadmap, and backlog.

As a Product Owner, you develop and maintain a clear product vision and strategy for the city pass solution, aligned with the needs of municipalities and the Centric portfolio. You focus on determining the product direction, translating wishes and needs into concrete improvements, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

In this role, we will make maximum use of your commercial skills. The Gemeentepas is a new solution within our portfolio. This means you will have a lot of contact with potential customers. You know how to translate their wishes into standard solutions and how to justify a market-conform fee for them. You will actively fulfill a substantive and commercial role in procurement processes.

You will, of course, be supported in this by our product sales and product manager. We believe this is a very beautiful opportunity for a highly entrepreneurial product owner who wants to invest in themselves and a new product.

What else do you do?

• Product strategy and roadmap: You draw up a roadmap for the further development of the Gemeentepas. In doing so, you look at integrations with municipal systems, including Suites for the Social Domain, and investigate new possibilities, such as connections with European wallets.

• Customer and stakeholder management: You represent the voice of the customer and ensure that the wishes, needs, and requirements of municipalities, providers, and end users are translated into concrete product improvements.

• Backlog management and prioritization: You manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, legal requirements, strategic objectives, and user feedback.

• Collaboration with the development team: You work closely with the scrum team to draft, refine, and validate epics and user stories, so that the development work aligns with the product vision.

• Analysis and optimization: You identify gaps in functionality through fit-gap analyses and initiate improvements in the areas of user experience (UX), accessibility, and system integrations.

• Market and trend development: You follow market developments, relevant laws and regulations, and technological innovations and translate these into new functionalities and propositions.

• Monitoring and value creation: You monitor the progress and the realized value per sprint and release and adjust where necessary to achieve the product objectives.

• Reporting and KPIs: You monitor and report on relevant KPIs, such as user satisfaction and the adoption of the city pass solution by municipalities and providers

You have strategic insight, are decisive, and possess strong analytical skills. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• You have an HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of IT, business administration, or a similar field.

• You have several years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within software development.

• You have experience within the public sector. Knowledge of the Social Domain is a strong advantage.

• You have knowledge of system integrations, security, and privacy, including GDPR and Secure Software Development.
